Rainbow Thread PDO Mono is an effective and non-surgical method for facial lifting, wrinkle removal and tightening the facial structures. The Mono thread treatment is a minimally invasive procedure with dissolvable PDO threads that are injected into the dermis to lift and rejuvenate the skin while giving the same benefits as a facelift without the need for surgery. The results obtained with Rainbow Thread PDO Mono 30G/25/30 are immediate and creates a visible tightening and lifting effect.

Mono threads are injected through a suture that contains a single filament without barbs, which provides a very smooth surface and gliding effect for a precise injection. The Polydioxanone filament is very easy to be inserted into the human skin in comparison to other devices but has a lower tensile strength than some of the other Rainbow threads. The biodegradable PDO threads are safe to use and are broken down naturally by the body over time. The PDO thread has a healing effect under the skin, where it helps to regenerate skin cells, increases the body’s collagen production and improves blood circulation, which ensures ideal skin repair and increases elasticity.
