Rainbow Thread PLLA COG is a biodegradable and absorbable thread used to lift the skin, restore volume and stimulate collagen formation for a more youthful appearance. The powerful lifting treatment is ideal for small areas of sagging skin and helps to tighten the skin and redefine contours of the face with long-lasting results. The suture is made of PLLA (Poly L-Lactic Acid), a biodegradable material with high bio-absorbability, and contains barbs that are designed to hook to the tissue for great lifting effects. The Rainbow Thread PLLA COG is provided with an L-type Cannula, which allows a smooth insertion into the skin. The thread should be inserted into the SMAS layer and regenerates collagen for 18-24 months.
PLLA Threads are resorbable and regenerate more collagen over time than PDO threads. Furthermore, PLLA threads have better tension and elasticity than PDO threads, while stimulating more fibrosis.
